The 2023 Acura TLX Type S includes Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), which is not included in the base model. SH-AWD adds greater steering ability by optimizing the amount of power sent to each wheel. This involves a self-regulating torque distribution system that makes tire rotation incredibly smooth. 

In addition to that, rev-matching downshifts ensure that acceleration will be as smooth as possible.
