What new features does the 2021 Acura TLX offer?
In its second generation, the Acura TLX is all- new, reimagined, and performance focused, first-and-foremost. This newest model is built upon a platform designed specifically for the 2021 Acura TLX, so it’s clear Acura went all in this time in its luxury, sporty sedan category.
The completely re-engineered TLX is powered by a new 2.0-liter 272-HP DOHC VTEC® Turbo engine. The new Turbo 4-cylinder engine delivers more peak torque than the outgoing (2020) 3.5L V6, with a dramatic increase at lower rpms and wider range where it counts most. If you really want power, the Acura TLX Type S (Spring 2021) delivers. The turbocharged 3.0L V6, is estimated to produce 355-HP and 354 pounds of torque. You’ll have power when and where you need it with the Acura TLX Type S – you won’t want to miss it!
Even more performance improvements for the 2021 Acura TLX include a sport-tuned chassis with double wishbone front suspension and a high performance, quick-shifting 10-speed transmission. Electro-servo braking delivers braking performance comparable to a supercar. And every 2021 Acura TLX model is available with Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ (SH-AWD®) system, making road handling better in any weather condition.
